OOOH RIVER. Very happy to see her. I like the style a lot, it looks a bit more realistic than your previous stuff of her. Still not 100% realistic, but I like it the way it is now very much. I also think that natural looking profiles are hard to make and so I respect you for managing that. Not only her face, but I also think her anatomy looks very natural. I like the thoughtful deep expression she has and her hair. If I know anything about drawing River it's that you need to detail the hair somewhat. And you did. Now I do like the colours as well, they add to the thoughtfulness and calmness, but it kinda lacks impact a bit. So I'd say it either needs a bit more colour ( but I love the colours the way they are) or some more detail, something on the background to make it look a bit more something small maybe?, her diary laying there somewhere or I don't know - seaside and a TARDIS far in the background( I really don't know) It looks a bit unfinished like that, but I do like it very much and it might as well stay like it.
Well, I'm a sucker for anything with River A look at my page clearly gives that away. I like your technique here; black and white seems to suit her. You've given her a blank expression, but her pose suggests she's done with the world and utterly exhausted - there might even be a hint of sadness in there (not that she would ever admit that, as we know). Kudos to you for doing Alex Kingston's hair justice! (I have decided her hair is the absolute hardest thing in the world to draw.) However, I don't like the fuzzy quality of the lines on her legs... it gives them sort of a warped look. My only other recommendation would be stronger shadows to emphasize the contours you've given her. Overall, very nice job! *sweeps off bowler hat and bows*
